Volunteer of the Year

Congratulations to Neal Deacon for being selected as the Band Fans Volunteer of the year for the 2013-2014 school year!  Neal began his volunteering by chaperoning band camp in his percussionist son Matt’s freshman year, and he’s made a repeat appearance at band camp every year since (for a total of four). Now wrapping up his fourth year as a volunteer, Neal has chaperoned football games and competitions, volunteered each year for uniform fitting day, driven the equipment truck, served as an essential member of the HPR backdrops team, donated his home each year for the Band Fans holiday party, and donated equipment and materials to the band.  Neal, thank you so much for your support these past four years.  We will miss you!

Whenever possible, please support these businesses and recommend them to your friends and family. Would you like to help? Download our sponsorship packet or make a tax credit donation. Also, ask your employer about matching gifts for nonprofits.

Band Fans is open to parents of all band students, and we depend on the help of all band parents to support our student musicians.
